FORGOTTEN
This is a 5-minute and 20-second narrative short film shot in Boston, USA. It tells the story of a quiet, introverted college student nearing graduation, who finds himself lost in thoughts about the future. While he has a few friends from his home country, their presence offers only limited comfort. He struggles to form deeper bonds and feels increasingly out of place. His relationship with his American roommate is particularly strained. The roommate’s bullying and coldness push him further into isolation, intensifying his desire to escape both his living situation and the expectations placed upon him. As the tension grows, he begins to question the life path set before him and seeks the courage to forge his own.
The film ends with a reflective inner monologue, capturing his thoughts as he looks back on his experience. Through his quiet voice, we hear not just sadness and confusion, but also a growing sense of clarity and resolve—a subtle but powerful step toward self-discovery and independence.
